Delhi Transport Department – The Delhi Government has announced financial assistance of RS. 5000 to the public service drivers who are facing a financial crisis due to the lockdown. According to the announcement made by the Delhi government, Rs 5–5 thousand will be sent to the PSV (Public Service Vehicles) drivers in their bank account. Update 04 May 2021: CM Arvind Kejriwal has taken 2 important decisions. Under this, 72 lakh people will receive ration in Delhi for two months. And Auto-taxi driver will get Rs.5000 per month by the govt under Delhi Driver Yojana 2021.

For this eligible driver have to online apply & registration under Delhi driver Pandemic help Yojana (Yojna) at Transport.delhi.gov.in. The government says that the benefit of Delhi Driver Virus help Yojana financial assistance will be given only to those running public service vehicles whose bank account is linked to their Aadhar card.
To get financial help, the eligible beneficiary will have to apply online between 13 April to 27 April 2020. The government has created a page for receiving the online form. The online registration link has been given on the website of Delhi Transport Department as we as on this page.
Due to heavy traffic for online application on the first day, Delhi transport main official site was not working properly. Therefore the department to provide an alternative portal i.e HTTP pucc.delhi.gov.in cvfa home.jsp for online apply. Those who are facing hurdle can visit the new portal pucc.delhi.gov.in.

In order to get this assistance amount Rs. 5000 given by the government.it is mandatory for the drivers to provide the PSV badge number, driving license number, date of birth, mobile number, gender and Aadhaar number associated with the bank account while filling the online form.
Only those people who have received the badge (public badge) of the public service vehicle by 23 March 2020 will get the benefit of this financial help of Delhi government.
Its beneficiaries are auto-rickshaw, taxi, rural service, rural service, Fatfat service, maxi cab, eco-friendly services, e-rickshaws and school cabs etc. For this, eligible drivers will have to apply online by visiting the website of the Delhi Transport Department. How to Apply online for Delhi Driver Form?
PSV holders can go to the Delhi Transport Department website (https: //transport.delhi.gov.in/) and apply from April 13. On 13 April, this form will start has stared on the website from 09:45 Pm. Applications can be made The government has also issued a helpline number for making any inquiry. The helpline number is 011-23930763 and 011-23970290. This helpline number can be queried from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on other working days except for Sunday.
According to Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot, the Delhi government is taking these steps to help drivers associated with public service vehicles such as autos, e-rickshaws, taxis, etc. in the event of lock-down caused by the virus. The process of this financial help will be accelerated and the financial help will be directly transferred to their bank accounts. This will help them a lot in times of crisis.
