The process of admissions to FYJC Classes has been going on since the academic year 1997-98 as per the GR for School Education No. HSC 1097/ (1444/97)/HSE-dt. 26 June 1997. Keeping in mind interest of the student community, the government has introduced the scheme of online admission to FYJC classes from the academic year 2009-2010, in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region ( MMR), vide GR. No HSC 1709/ (44/09)/ HSC-1, Mantralaya, Mumbai 400032 dt. 28 May 2009. Subsequently, from the academic year 2014-15 the admissions to FYJC classes in the MMR shall be 'online ' as per the government letter No OAP-2014/CH-16/14/SD-2, School education and sports Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai 400032 dt. 05-02-2014. From academic year 2016-17 onwards the admissions to FYJC classes in MMRDA and Pune and Pimpri Chinchawad Muncipal Region shall be done as per the GR न्यायप्र – २०१५/(६१/१५) एस.डी.– २.दि.२८ मार्च २०१६.
