Rules for Admission

 

 

4.1 Students passing Std X examination of Maharashtra State SSC Board or an equivalent examination (qualifying examination) are eligible for admissions to FYJC Classes. Marks scored at this examination shall be the sole basis for admissions to FYJC Classes.

4.2 Students scoring a minimum of 40% marks in the science subjects at the qualifying examination are eligible for admissions to FYJC Science.

4.3 There shall be no interview or test prior to admissions to FYJC classes.

4.4 As per the circular of the Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Pune, No. RA Man/Papui/Gen. Math/4050 dated 2nd June 2008; students who have opted for General Mathematics in Std. IX and Std. X, are not eligible for admissions to the bifocal subjects. They are not eligible to opt for Mathematics in any of the streams.

4.5 At the time og applying on-line, applicants from reserved category should produce an appropriate caste certificate issued by the competent authority appointed by the Government of Maharashtra at the time of applying online, failing which their applications can not be processed in the reserved category. Such applications by default will be processed in the open category.

4.6 Applicants applying under special reservation category viz.

a) Sports, Art & Culture


b) Wards of the Employees of State Government / Central Government / Private Sector coming on transfer in the MMR on or after 1st October, 2013.

c) Wards of Servicemen and Ex-Servicemen

d) Wards of Freedom Fighters

e) Handicapped

should produce relevant documents/certificates* in original at the time of applying online, failing which their applications will not be processed under special reservation category. Such applications by default will be processed in open merit category.

4.7 All allotment to the bifocal subjects shall be done by the respective junior collages from among the students admitted to that junior college through the on-line process. These admission will be done as per the rules in force and as per the demand and merit of the student. These allotments shall be done after the entire on line admission process is over.
